JOIN US IN ROME FROM SEPTEMBER 19 TO 22 2019, AT YOUR ALMA MATER!

The reunion is a unique opportunity to meet up with old friends and see how JCU has changed. Alumni are welcome to bring guests who are not graduates of the University.

HOW TO BOOK

Online bookings can be made until September 13, 2019.

The Reunion has a FULL PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION FEE of $100 (approx. €88) which includes:

  • Welcome Aperitivo
  • Brunch with the President
  • Keynote Address by Alumni Association President Francesco Ruspoli
  • Faculty & Alumni Forums
  • Wine & Cheese & much more Tasting
  • Farewell Lunch

Stand-alone tickets can be purchased.

All participants will receive a welcome bag with JCU gadgets.

Galleria Borghese Tour: the outstanding Borghese collection consists of sculptures, bas-reliefs and ancient mosaics, as well as paintings and sculptures from the 15th to the 18th century. The collection, initially formed by Cardinal Scipione Borghese at the beginning of the seventeenth century, preserves masterpieces by Antonello da Messina, Giovanni Bellini, Raphael, Titian, Correggio, Caravaggio and splendid sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Canova. Together with Alumna and tour guide Sara Terracina, you will discover one of the most famous and beautiful museums in the world!

The tour price is €20 per person. The deadline to sign up is September 12.

Horse riding on the Appia Antica: disconnect from the city center and explore ancient Roman time riding a horse! Riding along you will see monuments, statues, and temples that line the side of Appia Antica. Feel the emotion of riding headlong into history in the hoof steps of Julius Caesar! If you don’t feel like riding there is the possibility to rent bikes or walk on the same path.

The price is €60 for 2 hours, there is an option to have lunch afterward, but additional fees are necessary.
The deadline to sign up is September 6.

Cooking Class: you will be learning from the best in a great friendly environment! It will take up at least 2 hours, and you will be making a 3-course Italian meal. Once you have cooked the food you can enjoy it with some wine. In the end, you will receive a certificate and a little gift.

The price is €55 per person. The deadline to sign up is September 11.

1:00 PM | Farewell Lunch, a taste of multiculturalism at Lemon Tree Courtyard in Guarini Campus


WHAT TO WEAR

Pack comfortable clothing that can be worn in layers, as it can be quite warm during the daytime in September but become chilly after sunset. Wear flat, comfortable shoes if you plan to attend any of the cultural tours. None of the events require a formal dress code, except for the President's Gala.


ALUMNI ID CARDS

To attend the Reunion you will be needing your Alumni ID card. Should you need a new card, contact the Alumni Office at alumni@johncabot.edu.


FROHRING LIBRARY

Alumni may access the Frohring Library throughout the Reunion. Visit it to read, work or go online. Wireless internet access is available throughout the Guarini Campus, the Tiber Campus and the Critelli Building.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

APPLICATION FEE
Our application fee is non-refundable, unless in the event that Reunion must be cancelled. The fees are used to cover the cost of most of the activities and meals throughout the Alumni Reunion 2019 (see agenda for more details).

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Unforeseen situations may present themselves to our participants. You may cancel your participation in the Alumni Reunion at any time, but please be aware that tickets are not refundable. In this case, the entire value of your ticket will contribute to JCU scholarships, which will give extra financial help to a student. John Cabot University is a 501(c) (3) organization registered in the United States, donations to the University are tax-deductible for US taxpayers.
